Just over one million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Ministry of Health on Wednesday said 452,934 people have completed their vaccination regimen, while 551,160 people have completed a first dose of a two-dose regimen.
Meanwhile, there have been 1,391 deaths to date due to COVID-19. The five latest fatalities are four men and one elderly woman, all with co-morbidities.
The Ministry of Health says there are also 290 new Positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the number of Active cases to 3,866.
