Trinidad and Tobago’s Men’s Hockey Team will play for Gold at the 2023 CAC Games in El Salvador after a convincing Semi-Final win.
At the Parque del Este, Teague Marcano hit a hat-trick, Jordan Vieira and Tariq Marcano scored a brace each, and Joel Daniel added another in their 8-2 win over Barbados to enter the Gold Medal match against Mexico tomorrow at 2:45pm.
Earlier today, the Calypso Girls maintained their unbeaten run with a 50-47 win over neighbours Barbados. Afeisha Noel excelled, hitting 40 of her 43 shots. The Calypso Girls next play St. Vincent and the Grenadines at 9:30pm today.
Meanwhile, T&T’s Men’s Beach Soccer Team suffered their third straight loss to Venezuela on Tuesday evening. Omri Baird and Kevon Williams scored TTO’s goals in the 4-2 defeat.
And exciting junior golfer Christopher Richards Jr. shot an even par 72 to sit 6th on the leaderboard at the end of first round of Individual Stroke Play on Tuesday. He’s currently one under par in third position in Round 2 of four.
