27 Officers Elevated To Prisons Supervisors

Immediately following the promotion of fifteen officers in the First Division of the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service, Commissioner of Prisons, Mr. Dennis Pulchan, once again presided over another promotion.

In a brief ceremony hosted at the Prisons Sports Club on Thursday September 23, 2021, twenty-seven (27) officers, inclusive of four (4) women, were elevated from the rank of Prisons Officer II to that of Prisons Supervisor.

Commissioner Pulchan in congratulating the officers noted that this promotion was not easy, but it exemplified resilience, hard-work and commitment. He added that he hoped it would serve as a motivator in going forward, and that they would be fair and just in the execution of their duties.

The elevated officers are as follows:
Ms. Janice Orosco, Mr. Dexter McMillan, Mr. Allan Guy, Mr. Dion James, Mr. Wayne Sequea, Mr. Wendell Mitchell, Mr. Deryck Modeste, Ms. Alason Billy, Mr. Miguel Forrester, Mr. Brent Greene, Mr. Kenrick Lewis, Mr. Nigel Thomas, Mr. Stephen Sambrano, Ms. Dawn James, Mr. Dennis Lorde, Mr. Lester Walcott, Mr. Maywalal Ramdass, Mr. Nigel Ramdeo
Mr. Dilip Rampersad, Mr. Sylvan Gayah, Mr. Wendell Lewis, Mr. Harold Le Gendre, Mr. Sheldon Nyron, Mr. Delbert Sandy, Ms. Michelle Tobias, Mr. Jairaj Hardath, Mr. Dion Joseph.

Two hundred and twenty-two (222) officers have been elevated to the higher rank under the stewardship of Commissioner Pulchan, whose dedication to the upward mobility and development of staff remain priority.
