ASATT Announces CARIFTA Swim Squad

The Aquatics Sports Association of Trinidad & Tobago (ASATT) has announced its team for 2023 CARIFTA Swimming Championships which is scheduled to splash off from April 6th to 10th in Curacao.

According to a release from ASATT, 21 swimmers are expected to represent T&T in the pool as well as open water events. The athletes will continue to train at the National Aquatic Centre in Couva ahead of the championships

The full swim team includes Adam Scoon, Aaron Siewlal, Aimee Le Blanc, Amelia Rajack, Anpherne Bernard, Christiano Rivas, Darren Belfon, Giovanni Rivas, Harmoni Nelson, Irmani Smith, Isaiah Alexander, Jonathan Sambrano, Josiah Changar, Liam Carrington, Liam Roberts, Nikoli Blackman, Taylor Marchan, Tyla Ho A Shu, Zachary Anthony, Zoe Anthony, and Zarek Wilson.

The officials comprise Mark Pouchet as the swimming Head Soach, Anil Roberts and Paul Newallo as Assistant Coaches, Maurice Faria – Head Coach Open Water Swimming, Bertram Blackman will manage the team, while Lilas Solomon-Stuart will serve as chaperone.
