bpTT is the title sponsor for the 2024 Panorama competition ‘Pan Around D Clock.’
The organisation made the announcement on Friday.
The Pan Trinbago initiative is a new one that aims to provide another opportunity to showcase the national instrument while providing opportunities for the public to experience live performances from some of the nation’s top steelbands.
This announcement comes after the company’s decision to pull out of the initiative due to “insurmountable security concerns” in the Port of Spain area.
Friday’s announcement stated that they welcome the additional security measures being implemented by the National Security agencies to provide a safe Carnival experience. One measure is the relocation of the event from opposite the bpTT Head Office to the Carnival Village in the Queen’s Park Savannah.
The ‘Pan Around the Clock’ initiative will be free to the public on designated days throughout the Carnival season.
