While the mandatory mask mandate is set to be removed this Sunday, July 17th, Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh said businesses do have the right to determine whether or not people can enter their premises with or without a mask.
The Minister was speaking during the Weekly Covid-19 Health Update on Wednesday.
While wearing masks will be voluntary come Sunday, people will still be required to wear masks at all health institutions including dental clinics. It is also recommended that people wear masks in public spaces such as beaches and cinemas.
