Minister of National Security, Fitzgerald Hinds, has announced the appointment of Cedric Neptune as Inspector of Prisons.
His appointment takes effect from today, Monday January 3rd, 2022, for a two-year period.
Minister Hinds said his search for an Inspector of Prisons led him straight back to Mr. Neptune as he served in the position from 2017 to 2019.
One of Mr. Neptune’s goals is to reform the role of the Inspector of Prisons to make it a little more relevant to the 21st century.
