An explanation for the non-submission of financials for the years 2015 to the present was the first issue put to the Community-Based Environmental Protection and Enhancement Programme (CEPEP) at Wednesday’s 3rd Meeting of the Public Accounts Enterprises Committee.
Chief Executive Officer, Keith Eddy, suggested that the circumstances around this were somewhat out of their control.
Mr. Eddy said that even more time elapsed before they were able to get a handle on the situation.
This response however did not satisfy the PAEC. The Chair and other members said that the situation has existed far too long and needs to be addressed immediately.
