Commonwealth Games Federation Team To Visit T&T Next Week

President of the Commonwealth Games Federation, Dame Louise Martin, and her delegation will be in Trinidad and Tobago to attend a series of events related to the upcoming Commonwealth Youth Games.

The team will arrive on Monday and will visit the facilities that have been selected to host the seven sports that will make up the Games in Trinidad and Tobago.

While here, the officials will meet with the Local Organising Committee and other stakeholders responsible for getting the Games up and running.

The August 4th to 11th event will see Track and Field take place at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Aquatics at the National Aquatic Centre, and Cycling at the National Cycling Velodrome in Couva.

While in Tobago, Rugby 7s will be hosted at Shaw Park Tobago, Fast Five netball at the Shaw Park Cultural Complex, Beach Volleyball at the Pigeon Point Heritage Park, and Turtle Beach for triathlon.
