Efforts have been made, and are expected to continue to ensure the mental health well-being of both COVID-19 patients and front line staff members overseeing their care.
The comment comes from Chief Executive Officer of the North Central Regional Health Authority, Davlin Thomas, during Wednesday’s sitting of Parliament’s Public Administration and Appropriation Committee.
During the meeting, some of the findings of factors contributing to clinical outcomes of COVID-19 patients in Trinidad and Tobago were shared. The report which was conducted by a Government-appointed Committee was submitted on February 14th.
