CSO Prepares For Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey

The Central Statistical Office (CSO) is preparing for an upcoming Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) which will begin at the end of July and conclude in November of this year.

The MICS is a household survey implemented by countries under the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to provide internationally comparable, statistically rigorous data about women and children.

In light of this, they have announced field practice exercises and one pilot exercise, in which field staff will go around in pairs to test the water that a household usually drinks. The dates of the field practice exercises, and one pilot exercise are July 20th, 21st and 22nd, as well as on July 26th.

The CSO says all information collected during these exercises will follow strict confidentiality protocols.
