This country’s swimming ace Dylan Carter began his World Short Course Swimming Championships campaign in fine style.
Competing in heat eight of the 50 metre Butterfly at the Melbourne Sport and Aquatic Centre , Carter was victorious in a time of 22.11 seconds with Chad Le Clos of South Africa second in 22.31 seconds and Canadian Ilya Kharun third in 22.31 seconds.
Carter who has been having an outstanding year on the international swimming circuit will be in action in Semi final heat one at 6:20 am local time on Wednesday 14th December..
