The Southern Emancipation Support Committee opted to remember their ancestors who toiled on plantations in the south land. Members of the committee gathered at the Pointe-a-Pierre roundabout which was originally a plantation. Meanwhile, after two years Tobago’s performers returned to the streets of Crown Point for the annual Emancipation Day procession.
