Trinidad and Tobago can expect better protection of its borders.
That is the assurance given by the Minister of National Security, Fitzgerald Hinds.
He said the Government intends to reintroduce several vessels to assist the two Cape-class patrol boats of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard while they navigate around the country’s waters. Minister Hinds says the 12 vessels are supposed to return to service in approximately 14 months’ time.
