A 40 year old man has been charged with the murder of Krishanna Ellen Mohammed.
Jason Romero, a labourer, of Mayaro, was scheduled to appear before a Mayaro Magistrate today to answer to the charge.
The 24 year old woman was at her Mayaro home on May 11th, when she got into a heated altercation with a man known to her. During the incident, she sustained chop wounds about the body and died at the scene.
The assailant was subsequently held by officers of the Eastern Divison on that same date.
Romero was charged on Thursday May 19th.
