More parallel healthcare facilities are expected to be decommissioned in the coming weeks.
This, according to Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh at Wednesday’s Ministry of Health Weekly Media Briefing.
The Point Fortin and Arima Hospitals were decommissioned earlier this year as COVID-19 facilities due to a decrease in the country’s need for these facilities.
