The Medals kept coming for Team TTO at the 2023 CAC Games with another Gold and Silver in San Salvador last evening.
This time, it was the Men’s 4×400 Relay team who topped the podium with a time of three minutes 1.99 seconds.
The quartet of Jereem Richards, Machel Cedenio, Che Lara and Renny Quow beat Barbados into second in 3 minutes 2.12 seconds. The Dominican Republic was third in 3 minutes, 2.19 seconds.
Joelisa Cooper shot a perfect 12 out of 12 and Afeisha Noel hit 24 or 92% of her shots as the Calypso Girls won Silver in the Women’s netball competition after falling to a 50-36 defeat to Jamaica in the Final.
TTO’s water polo Men finished 5th with a 17-12 win over El Salvador.
The Volleyball women also beat the hosts 3-1 to finish seventh overall.
