To news out of the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin, Germany where our athletes continue to find themselves amongst the medals.
In Swimming, Trent Bethel won his second Gold of the Games when he touched the wall first to win the 800 meters in a personal best time: 10 mins 31secs.
Bethel is proving to be a master of the longer distances as also won Gold in the open water swim earlier in the Games.
Meanwhile in Equestrian, there were more medals for Team TTO, as Gold and Silver were the precious metals won. Aaron Ben Ali placed 1st with an impressive 78.750 points and Omari Patterson placed 2nd with 68.750 points.
The Special Olympics World Games end on Sunday 25th June.
