Drone technology will soon be used to monitor the coastline along Matura Beach in an effort to protect the sea turtles and their hatchlings from the risk of erosion, and other threats plaguing the beach.
Speaking on TTT’s NOW Morning Show on Friday, Managing Director of Nature Seekers, Suzan Lakhan-Baptiste, said the organisation was given $1.5 million US dollars to help with its conservation efforts.
