NH International Caribbean Limited recently held a Graduation Ceremony for ten interns who trained with the company in a variety of areas within the construction field.
Chairman of NH, Emile Elias, said based on the applications submitted, he saw a need for training in the practical and educational aspects of construction.
Gabriel La Rose, one of the graduating interns, said the engaging training sessions on topics such as pre-construction, preparation of tenders, and quality management gave great insight into the operations of the company.
Managing Director of NH, Kit Kennedy, explained that the company has pioneered a training initiative to provide opportunities for young people across the Caribbean to complete work in the region. Mr. Kennedy said the company intends to train ten interns every year.
