Nicholas Paul Wins Keirin

Nicholas Paul was once again on fire at the Trinidad and Tobago Cycling Federation and Barbados Cycle Union Track Champs on Sunday.

Competing in the Keirin, Paul, who rides for Central Spokes Cycle Club locally, was once again in a class of his own at the National Cycling Velodrome as the Championships came to an end.

The National Sprint Champion competed in the Keirin and in a field that contained several of this country’s premier cyclists, Paul dominated. With the Durney leaving the track after three laps, Paul riding from the back made his move, leaving an orange blur of speed on his way to taking the title of national Keirin champion.

2020 Olympian Kwesi Browne was the runner-up for Arima Wheelers and Quincy Alexander, riding for team PSL, took third.
