Over one month later and investigations continue to determine the owners of the vessel that remains overturned off the coast of Canoe Bay, Tobago.
Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, Stuart Young, revealed this fact during the Opening Ceremony of the NGC Green Company Limited’s Public CNG Station in Tobago on Tuesday.
While investigations continue, clean-up operations are being maintained. Minister Young said the improvements are as a result of collaboration.
On February 7th, Tobago was caught by surprise when an overturned vessel was spotted in the Canoe Bay area leaking a fuel-like substance which caused much damage to the island’s waterfronts, reef, and wildlife.
