The North Zone Secondary Schools Volleyball League’s 2022-2023 ended with a Closing Ceremony held on Thursday July 6th at St. Joseph’s Convent in Port of Spain.
Some 100 students from the eight North Zone schools, namely Diego Martin Secondary, Holy Name Convent Port of Spain, International School of Port of Spain, Maple Leaf, Providence Girls Secondary School, St. Joseph’s Convent, Port of Spain, and Woodbrook Secondary attended.
The North Zone took the opportunity to recognise and celebrate their players in the following categories with medals and certificates: Most Valuable Player, Most Dedicated Player, and Most Improved Player.
Volleyball continues to be a growing sport in T&T and the North Zone athletes are very excited to improve their game.
The North Zone hopes that more suitable courts will be made available in the Port of Spain to facilitate the League’s games in the future.
