Over the past weeks, new candidates on the Progressive Democratic Patriots slate have been expressing their plans for the districts they hope to represent.
During Wednesday’s PDP meeting, Sonny Craig, the candidate for Buccoo/Mt. Pleasant, stressed he would ensure the voices of the youth are heard, adding that liaison officers would be appointed to document the youth’s issues. He said that agricultural opportunities would be pursued.
Mr. Craig added that they would be looking into improving the community’s fishing industry to the recycling of fish bones.
Another new PDP candidate, Natisha Charles-Pantin, noted that she fully understands the struggle of Bacolet/Bagatelle. She outlined various community programmes the PDP hopes to roll out.
