The Police Service Commission (PoLSC) has extended the deadline for the recruitment process for the Commissioner of Police.
The Commission says this is necessary to ensure that candidates have a proper and in-depth security vetting.
On July 8th this year, the Police Service Commission informed the nation that it anticipated the end of the recruitment and selection process would be by the end of 2022. However, in a statement today, the Commission said it anticipates that it will require another month to complete the process, taking its completion to January 31st, 2023.
