Preventing Child Labour

Minister of Labour, Stephen Mc Clashie, is encouraging communities to be their brother’s keeper when it comes to protecting children from instances of child labour.

Speaking at the second stop on the nationwide Child Labour Prevention Caravan Tour at Gulf City Mall in San Fernando, Minister Mc Clashie said the caravan’s aim is to sensitise on how to identify, treat, and deal with child labour.

The Child Labour Prevention Caravan is hosted by the Labour Inspectorate Unit and the National Steering Committee for the Prevention and Elimination of Child Labour in Trinidad and Tobago under the Ministry of Labour.
