Resonating Rhythms, A Steelpan Tribute At Mille Fleurs

“Resonating Rhythms, A Steelpan Tribute” is a special Art and Virtual Reality Exhibition focused on the steelpan.

The exhibition, which is currently open at Mille Fleurs, is held by the National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago in partnership with the Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago.

Business Development and Marketing Coordinator at the National Trust, Graeme Suite, said the exhibition is in commemoration of World Steelpan Day, which was declared by the United Nations as August 11th.

The artists have all paid tribute to the steelpan with their works.

There is also a virtual steelpan museum on display which Mr. Suite believes will be a wonderful resource for young people. It offers a gaming environment where young people can immerse themselves in the experience.

The exhibit runs until August 21st, excluding Sundays, during the hours of 10AM to 6PM.

The exhibition is free for the public to attend.
