Rigtech Sonic dominated the Junior Divisions of the National Mountainbike Championships at Twin Peaks recently, winning 14 titles over two days.
Sonics won two Tinymites titles Jahziel Jacob in the XCE and Maurice Lopez pipping him to the XCO title.
Rigtech’s Ryan Sheppard won the youth developers Under-7, Jahleel Jacob the Under-9, Ryan Shepherd, Reon Shepard the U-11 boys, Lisa-Joe Boodhoo the Girls U-11, and Melina Joseph the Under-13 girls crowns.
Overall, the San Fernando club also won the Overall Tinymites, Youth Developers Under-7, Under-11 boys and girls, and overall Under-13 titles.
Maria Gooding of Breakaway won the Women’s Elite race while Heatwave’s Enrique de Comarmond won the Elite Men’s race.
Riders from the Dominican Republic and Bolivia also factored in the championships, taking the overall titles in the Elite, Juniors and Juveniles Divisions.
