Daily-rated workers at the San Fernando City Corporation are pleading with the authorities to provide more suitable working conditions for them.
The workers, under the umbrella of their union, the Contractors and General Workers Trade Union (CGWTU), staged a protest at the Corporation Building at Carib Street, San Fernando.
President of the CGWTU Corporation Branch, Ian Charles, said the lack of resources for workers to complete their tasks is unacceptable. He said the workers are growing frustrated and they are hopeful that something would be done soon to treat with their concerns.
