Hundreds of athletes and supporters gathered at St. Mary’s College Grounds for the Closing Ceremony of The Special Olympics Trinidad and Tobago National Games.
Among the many highlights of the day was the announcement of the Trinidad and Tobago delegation that will be attending the 2023 Special Olympics World Games in Berlin later this month.
Trinidad and Tobago would be represented by a 29-strong contingent that includes 17 athletes and 12 officials for the Games that take place from the 17th to 25th of June.
The Team TTO contingent will be taking part in Athletics, Powerlifting, Swimming, and Equestrian events.
