Officers of the Student Support Services of the Education Ministry will offer support to the students and teachers at the Gloster Lodge Moravian Primary School in Gonzales, Port of Spain when classes resume.
This follows a shooting incident near the school on Tuesday where a man identified as Amore Howe was fatally shot.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, was asked to indicate in the Upper House what immediate measures are being taken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children and teachers of the school.
The Minister also offered condolences to the family of the victim as he was a close male relative to a Primary School teacher of another school in the area.
