The white powdery substance found on shore at the Cove Estate, Tobago near the overturned vessel has been identified as cocaine.
Minister of National Security, Fitzgerald Hinds, was asked in the senate on Tuesday to advise whether the origin and ownership of the items have been determined, as well as confirm whether tactical gear and police uniforms were also found near the site. The cocaine was found 250 metres away from the vessel.
