We had a good Easter. The statement from THA Secretary of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Transportation, Tashia Grace Burris, as she spoke to businesses in Tobago.
However, Secretary Burris said she took note of the Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association’s statistics of 60% occupancy, adding that they do not represent the entire picture as it relates to occupancy levels during the Easter period.
Like the THTA, Ms. Grace Burris lamented that the issues on the air bridge continue to be a major contributor to the reduction in visitors to the island during peak periods. She noted all of Tobago needs to get on board in calling for CAL to address the long-standing issue.
