Tobago’s Carnival stakeholders are making final preparations as the island’s second October Carnival is exactly one week away.
Mas band leaders are revving up to distribute costumes. One such band is Zain Carnival Mas Band who say they provide the ultimate premium mas experience.
The band has four sections on the road this Carnival, seeing collaborations with Trinidad’s Illusion Mas and Tobago’s Sure Vibe. Like other Tobago bands, Zain’s masqueraders will also benefit from a J’ouvert inclusive package which they have dubbed ‘Zouvert.’
Tobago’s Carnival festivities will ramp up over the next few days with the opening of the Festivals Ground as well as the Soca Titans and Tobago Calypso Monarch Competitions.
From Friday October 27th to Sunday 29th, the Tobago October Carnival festivities will culminate with Pan, J’ouvert, Night Mas, and Parade of the Bands events.
