Trinidad and Tobago is seeking to understand India’s digital transformation journey and share that experience with the rest of the Caribbean.
This, from Minister of Digital Transformation, Hassel Bacchus, who led a technical mission to New Delhi, India earlier this month.
The Digital Transformation Minister said T&T is also seeking to understand India Stack and DPI – Digital Public Infrastructure Ecosystem.
Among the benefits, digital public infrastructure can enable remote workers to easily open a bank account or apply for credit online, and help cities optimise traffic flows and therefore reduce traffic congestion.
India showcased more than ten digital initiatives to the Trinidad and Tobago Mission and held three deep dive sessions on Digital Identity, Data Exchange, and Digital Payment.
