T&T U20 Lose To Mexico

Trinidad and Tobago was on the sharp end of a 5-0 scoreline against Mexico in Group F of the Concacaf Under-20 last evening.

On a difficult surface at the Estadio Francisco Morazan, T&T began brightly. However, Antonio Leone opened the scoring in the 28th before Bryan Gonzalez made it 2-0 at half-time, scoring from close range in the 47th. Esteban Lozano scored the first of his double in the 48th, Jonathan Perez scored the fourth in the 53rd, before Lozano completed his brace in the 80th.

Mexico are yet to concede and have now scored 13 in two matches.

T&T are on a single point after an opening day draw against Haiti and play bottom of the group Suriname in their final Group F fixture.
