T&T’s Women Volleyballers will have a shot at an eighth straight Senior Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) Championships when they play Jamaica in tomorrow’s Final in Suriname.
T&T had a battle on their hands but eventually won three sets to two over the hosts in Paramaribo.
Suriname won the first and third sets 25-21 and 25-16 T&T won the second and fourth 25-15 and 25-17 and then the tiebreaker 15-7 to advance.
Krystle Esdelle scored a game high 36 points.
The men ended their tournament in the semi-final at the end of another five set thriller against Suriname.
The match panned out similarly as Suriname ran away 3-2 winners.
