US Offers Cultural Preservation Grants To Locals

The United States Embassy in Port of Spain is offering Cultural Preservation Grants to local groups.

According to the US Embassy’s website, the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation is for reliable and accountable non commercial entities that are registered with SAM.gov, an official US Government website which is free to users.

For applicants to be considered for an up to US$500,000 Grant, groups must have the requisite experience and capacity to manage projects to preserve T&T’s cultural heritage. These may include Foreign Educational Institutions, Foreign Governments, Foreign NGOs/PVOs, Public International Organisations (PIOs), U.S. Educational Institutions, US Non-Profit Organisations.

The deadline for applications for the Grants is January 8th, 2024.
