The promised wage increase for Community-Based Environmental Protection and Enhancement Program (CEPEP) workers in Tobago will take effect from July 4th.
This announcement came from Secretary for Community Development, Terrence Baynes, during the Tobago House of Assembly’s Post Executive Council Meeting on Wednesday.
Foremen will now receive $215.31. Mr. Baynes reiterated that only a draft framework exists to guide the policies of CEPEP. He said the THA is working on finalising and approving a policy document.
