Windies Under-19 Women Lose Series To USA

The West Indies Under-19 Women were 2-1 down in the five-match T20 series versus the United States and were aiming to keep the contest alive with a win in Game 4 at Broward County in Florida.

The United States won the toss and decided to bowl first and kept it tight as the Windies amassed 76 for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Djenaba Joseph was the top scorer with 27 in 22 balls. USA Captain Geetika Kodali took 2 for 11 in 3 overs but the key bowling spell came from Isani Vaghela with 1 for 9 from 4 overs.

The host were never really troubled in the chase despite losing three wickets. They were guided by 37 not out from opener Disha Dhindra to reached the target with four overs to spare in registering the series clinching victory by 7 wickets.
