Coming off a successful home series against England in the red ball format, the focus is now shifted to the development of the white ball squads.
A special white ball camp got underway in Antigua at the end of March, consisting of several experienced players along with some fresh faces in the maroon set up. Windies Head Coach Phil Simmons gave an overview of the targeted areas of improvement.
Simmons emphasized while fitness is extremely important to all formats of the game, this camp is directed strictly to the advancement of skill, and he is quite satisfied with the approach of all players.
