Energy Minister Stuart Young has confirmed that there has been interest in T&T’s 2023 Shallow Water Competitive Bid Round which is due to end on May 27th.

Thirteen blocks are all up for bidding for the shallow water acreage.

Speaking to reporters during the Energy Ministry’s Natural Gas Audit, Minister Young said there has been some interest, including from current upstream operators.
